Cristian McMerty
Cristian McMerty was one of the very first ambassadors for Xtra Apparel.
He’s a true dreamer and doer, and you could even call him a serial entrepreneur. Cristian has Down Syndrome, but he’s never let that define him. Instead, he’s built a life full of passion and energy.
He’s a YouTuber, Wiffle Ball player, disc golfer, bowler, and even a ghost-hunting enthusiast. Cristian is also a strong self-advocate and the future owner of The Gifted Bean Coffee House in Bismarck, North Dakota.
He’ll tell you himself that he’s kind of a big deal with a little “Xtra,” and he’d love for you to check out his merch and support the journey he’s on.
Brett Voltin
Brett is the Co-Founder of Xtra Apparel and the spark that started it all. He’s been involved in everything from shaping the brand through videos and marketing to rolling up his sleeves with inventory and order fulfillment. His dedication is what keeps Xtra moving forward every day.
Outside of Xtra, Brett’s passion for teamwork and community really stands out. He’s competed in Special Olympics bowling, basketball, and golf, and he’s proudly been part of the Eden Prairie High School football program for almost 20 years.
When he’s not working on Xtra, Brett is part of the team at Cowboy Jack’s in Bloomington and spends time volunteering at PROP Resale Shop and Feed My Starving Children. He’s a great example of what Xtra is all about—hard work, heart, and giving back.
